Le poème un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard du poète Stéphane Mallarmé, est illustré de trois gravures sur bois par l’artiste Hervé Di Rosa.
L’impression du livre et des gravures ont été faites sur un papier du Moulin de Brousse – dernier moulin, en activité, fabriquant du papier ancien.
Le livre est imprimé en typographie à 15 exemplaires, dont sept exemplaires hors commerce (HC) réservés à l’artiste.
Stéphane Mallarmé, né en 1842 à Paris, est un poète et critique d’art. Mallarmé est l’un des fondateurs du symbolisme, mouvement littéraire qui eût une grande influence sur la littérature et la poésie dans le monde, particulièrement avec ce poème un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard.
Hervé Di Rosa, est un artiste peintre contemporain français, né en 1959. Hervé Di Rosa se fait connaître au début des années 1980 au sein du courant de la Figuration libre, puisant son inspiration dans la culture populaire
Formé aux Arts Décoratifs à Paris, Di Rosa a exposé dès l’âge de vingt ans dans les plus grandes galeries à Paris, Amsterdam et New York et San Francisco. Di Rosa pratique un grand nombre de techniques artistiques : la gravure, la peinture, la céramique, la tapisserie et la sculpture.
Parallèlement à son art, Di Rosa collectionne ce qu’il appelle les arts modestes, ces productions esthétiques faites en dehors du champ des beaux-arts. En 2000, il crée à Sète, ville dont il est originaire, un musée dédié à ces productions, le Musée international des arts modestes.

The poem un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard (the dice once never will abolish chance) written by the poet Stéphane Mallarmé, is adorned with three woodcuts by the artist Hervé Di Rosa.
The book and engravings are printed on handmade paper from the Moulin de Brousse -last active mill producing ancient paper.
15 copies of the book are printed in typography, seven of which are not for sale (NFS) reserved to the artist.
Stéphane Mallarmé, was born in 1842 in Paris, he is a poet and an art critic. Mallarmé is one of the founders of Symbolism, a literary movement from the 19th century which had a great influence on literature and poetry. The poem un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard is the quintessence of Symbolist poetry.
Hervé Di Rosa, is a contemporary French painter, born in 1959. Drawing his inspiration from popular culture, Hervé Di Rosa was recognised at the beginning of the 1980s by the artistic current Figuration libre.
Trained at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris, at just 20 years old, Di Rosa had his works exhibited in the greatest galleries in Paris, Amsterdam and New York. Di Rosa masters a variety of artistic techniques such as painting, engraving, ceramics, tapestry and sculpting.
Alongside of his art, Di Rosa collects what he calls modest art- aesthetic works created outside of the field of fine arts. In 2000, he created in Sète his hometown, the International Museum of Modest Arts -a museum dedicated to these productions.
