The book is printed in typography in only four copies. The books are composed of a text abundantly illustrated with photographs of models of the era. Each book holds three different original drawings by Pierre Balmain.
 
The book is encased in a jewel box, enriched with pleated wild silk by Ateliers Lognon –a Parisian couture atelier that collaborates with prominent fashion houses such as Dior, Chanel and Hermès.
